What it can look like:
Women may face challenges related to self-worth, societal roles, motherhood, fertility, career pressures, hormonal fluctuations (PMS, PMDD, perinatal/postpartum, menopause), and relationships.
How it manifests:
These issues can lead to emotional exhaustion, identity confusion, guilt, anxiety, or disconnection. Many women feel the pressure to balance everything while neglecting their own needs.
Therapeutic approach:
Therapy offers a safe space to process the unique layers of being a woman. It may focus on boundary setting, self-compassion, emotional validation, empowerment, and managing expectations — both internal and external.
